The Dutch Little League Championship will once again be held during the Pentecost weekend this year.
The NK Little League is the biggest youth tournament of the year. Regional baseball and softball teams compete in fun and exciting games against each other. The main goal is to have an amazing experience by playing this three-day tournament with enthusiastic peers.
The winners qualify for the European Championships later this summer. There, the teams even have a chance to earn a spot in the World Series in the United States! Only in the Softball Seniors division things are arranged a bit differently — you can read more about that here.
This event, organized at three locations by around 200 volunteers, is all about Enjoyment, Sportsmanship, and Respect from and for all participants. It’s a celebration for everyone!
The kids and the joy of the game come first!
With over 200 volunteers, the tournament promises to be an unforgettable experience for more than 650 participants. Being there means experiencing it! Taking part is more important than winning!
Of course, all teams will still compete for the Dutch Championship and a spot in the European Championships — and they even have a chance to qualify for the World Series in the United States! How amazing is that?
